Mac Miller Donates $50,000 to Make a Wish Foundation

Here's more of a reason to like and support Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rap star Mac Miller. Back in 2011, Mac donated $50,000 to the Make a Wish Foundation, and now he's doing music with a fan suffering from T-Cell Lymphoma.

I appreciate hip hop artists that make the news for doing things like this, keep it up!

The LeCrae and Don Cannon Church Clothes Mixtape is an immaculate piece of musical artwork. With a co-sign from the former Aphilliates DJ, Don Cannon, the Church Clothes mix tape is a perfect example of what Christian rap is about. The lyricism and production is a breath of fresh air for an over-saturated one dimension rap genre. Although LeCrae prefers that his musical rap sound not be put in a box, there is definitely a contrast between his rap style and other mainstream hip hop / rap artists.

The quality of lyricism and production throughout the Church Clothes mixtape makes this mixtape an instant classic in my opinion. LeCrae and Don Cannon have put together a great reason for the hardest rap fan and mainstream entertainment media outlets to expand their rap collection and shed light on the Christian rap genre.

As I watched the towers of the World Trade Center on the news for the first time that morning on September 11, 2001, I was amazed as  I saw one of the airplane's fly through one of the towers as if the World Trade Center tower were invisible.
